What Is a Distance Reiki Healing Session Used For? 

Reiki practitioners are taught mainly about three symbols before performing Reiki healing sessions. One of the primary ones being the ‘distance symbol’, which, when invoked, can send Reiki healing energy across time and space. This is where distance Reiki healing sessions come into play. 

As the distance symbol can allow for healing energy to transcend both time and distance, it allows for Reiki Masters to clear blockages, which may be affecting your mood, or day-to-day life, from afar. By not being physically present, you will not be hindering your experience during a healing session, as Reiki teaches us that we are all connected and part of a larger whole. Invoking the Hermetic Law of Similarity, means that your trained Reiki Master will be able to link up the energy field of the recipient. 

What To Expect When Booking a Distance Reiki Healing Session

‘What is a distance Reiki healing session? - is a question we often get asked. Distance Reiki healing sessions can be sent to anyone in your life. They make for a perfect birthday, wedding, or even Christmas gift. A healing session such as this, can also be done from anywhere - though, we do often ask that the recipient has knowledge about what to expect when booking a Reiki session, and has given us permission to move forward as this helps with general energy flow. 

Here at Hemsley Organics, we offer an online session of 30 minutes, or of 60 minutes. In your selected time slot, you will join our Reiki Master, Georgina Hemsley, for a collaborative session where you will be an active part in your healing process. As we’ve said above, energy is not bound by a physical space and therefore being online will not in any way, reduce the effectiveness of your session. Distance Reiki is just one of the many, many ways to link to and channel healing energy. 

 

When you enter your session, you will begin a conversation with Georgina which will help you disclose what you need and where you would like to focus. Throughout the session, you will be asked to lie down, fully clothed with your eyes closed. This will create a calming atmosphere which allows you to relax completely. Reiki is non-invasive and is a relaxing treatment. As we are channelling distance healing you will be notified when the healing has started and ended, with a chance to ask any questions you may have about the session at the end.
